Since 800 years in Seki city in Japan, Zanmai had been making extremely sharp and strong Katana swords for Samurai in Seki city, Japan. The experience of making such swords has been passed over from generation to generation to this day. However, when swords became obsolete weapons last century, the company changed its production to making superior kitchen knives, using the same expertise and techniques of making swords to became the oldest blade makers in the world.
