The Blacklock line is named after the original Lodge cast Iron foundry, Blacklock. Each piece of Blacklock has been linked to a date in Lodge history cast into the iron, these dates serve as reminders of the company’s roots. This lightweight cast iron skillet symbolizes the resourcefulness of Lodge Cast Iron during the Great Depression. The company made it successfully to 1939, the end of the economic downturn, as Lodge adapted and thrived. This skillet is also triple seasoned for easy cooking, exceptional flavor, and simplified cleanup. Like all Lodge cast iron cookware, Blacklock is also durable, resilient, and suitable for all heat sources including the grill, and is also made in the USA.
